
Holiday Lights at the Garden opens on Nov. 28 and runs through Dec. 28. The family tradition continues with a holiday event like no other. The Orchid Tree will once again be on display and you can enjoy seasonal entertainment, Christmas crafts, visits from Santa and nearly 500,000 lights adorning the Garden from the Grand Entrance to the Canal Garden and beyond. Open Tuesday - Sunday evenings from 5 - 9 p.m. this is a special time to share with family and friends. Members are free on Tuesday evenings! More information
Santa’s Workshop
Santa will be at the Garden on Saturdays, Dec. 6 & 13 for a special visit! Children are invited to attend Santa’s Workshop so they can spend some extra time with Santa before his big day. Story reading, holiday treats, music and an opportunity to make some gift items will all be part of the workshop.
Pre-registration is required so sign up early to bring your children to this holiday treat. Admission includes the evening Holiday Lights at the Garden event. Photo packages with Santa will also be available for an additional fee. More information
Holiday Tea
Make plans to visit the Garden on Sunday, Dec. 14 for a traditional European Holiday Tea. Admission to the afternoon tea also includes the evening Holiday Lights at the Garden festivities. Reservations are required so gather your family and friends and make plans to attend! Details
Something’s A-Flutter at the Garden Continues
Something’s A-Flutter butterfly exhibit continues at the Garden until Nov. 9. The Orchid Conservatory will be home to butterflies supported by seasonal nectar plants, puddling stations and more. A chrysalis exhibit will allow guests to see how butterflies develop and emerge. Don’t miss this special event! Details

Harvest Days at the Garden
Harvest Days fun continues at the Garden on Saturday, Nov. 8 with “Terrific Textiles” from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Join members of the Piedmont Fiber Arts Guild exploring spinning, weaving and other textile related arts. From dyes to fibers and fabrics, plants play a key role in textiles. Come out to the Garden to join in and learn more! Details

Meet Garnett Kalweit - a Garden member for several years, Garnett recently decided to become a volunteer as well. A resident of York, SC, Garnett assists with mailings for membership and also helps out during special events.
